At Key West Surgical Group, Inc., we understand that patients can feel uneasy about using an online patient portal for a number of reasons.
While we do encourage our patients to utilize our patient portal. We understand your concerns and have developed this FAQ which we believe will help ease you into the use of a patient portal.
Am I required to use the patient portal?
No! You will never be forced to use the patient portal. But please read the information below before you make your decision as the benefits and ease of use may surprise you!
Is it Hard to Use?
No! While it may seem intimidating or complicated, it is actually quite easy to use. There are two ways to access the portal; an app on your smart phone and the desktop version. Both are quite user friendly and interchangeable. It is really up to your personal preference. Both can be accessed by visiting: www.gobreeze.com
To use the desktop version, click "sign in" in the upper right of the screen or visit: https://web.gobreeze.com/
We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you troubleshoot the most common obstacles reported by patients.
There are members of our staff available to help, but we do suggest calling the Breeze Portal Help Desk at 855-204-4075, as they have more resources available to assist you. You can also access the help desk within the app and the website. We do encourage you to utilize these resources before giving up.
Most patients find that the portal is far easier and more convenient than the in-office check in process which requires filling out paperwork or utilizing the practice's check in iPad kiosk.
Is it Safe?
Yes! Your Protected Health Information (PHI) and Financial Information are protected. Our portal and Electronic Health Record System meet all federal and state guidelines to ensure your information is protected.
